kpix 5's jessica flores is in martinez, where a press conference is under way. jessica. >> reporter: county health officials just briefed us about what they know so far and they say today they have received nine more people who say that they have fallen ill with some type of sickness, they believe it's a food-borne sickness. that brings the total to 17 people. now, we do know more about the three people who died. the california department of social services says all the victims lived at facilities owned by the same company. two lived at minute person in va place one other -- minerva place as well as two others. four people got sick after eating thanksgiving meal from teens to 70s and contra costa county testing the patients to determine the source of the illness but they are looking at that food poisoning from thanksgiving dinner in the american legion in antioch. it was a charity event for veterans, elderly and people with disabilities. county health officials say some of the food like mashed potatoes and suffering, that was made at the facility. but other food
