jessica layman and the director mentioned the hearing on monday about elevators and to put in a plug to encourage people to attend. we're very excited and as you know i have been here a couple of times talking about elevators and we're grateful to have your resolution, including the maintenance of accessible features. we have had the senior and disability elevator work group meeting for several months trying to figure out where to go with this, and so in addition to the hearing today at the budget hearing we talked about requesting $1 million, which is supervisor jane kim's proposal, to ask for -- well, not ask for, but to get $1 million in the budget and add backs next thursday. for essentially a pilot program for some kind of revolving fund or some financing for sro owners to be able to repair, upgrade, modernize their elevators. so a million dollars may only be two, but it's more than we're fixing right now in that major way and if that goes well, that is just a step forward for much more. if it's for some kind of loan, we're talking about putting money back into the pot, so we're
