we're joined by loyola law professor jessica levinson. jessica always appreciate your time.ajority ignoring arguments of precedent today. how significant is this decision with regard to the court's approach moving forward? well i think it's hugely significant for a number of reasons. as you said one of the hurdles that they had to get past was overturning 50 years of president. now the court has certainly overturned its past decisions, and sometimes we celebrated that, and one of the most famous examples, of course , is when the court came out with brown versus board of education. but i think it's important to focus on the fact that one of the big differences is that the court has never pulled back on an individual right. the court has never taken a way of fundamental right that was previously protected under the constitution. again for half a century. now, does this mean that the court will just abandoned story decisis in other areas? i will say that i the way i read this opinion. there are other rights that are currently protected but not written in the constitution, which
