my name is jill fox. i'm the outreach manager for the san francisco department of elections. it's nice to come upstairs out of the basement once in a while. we are currently preparing for the next municipal election to be held on november 5th, tuesday november 5th. many people don't know we are having an election. an city san franciscans will be voting for city attorney, city treasurer, on district 4, the residents will be voting for supervisor and we have four local measures on the ballot as well. we make all our voting information accessible both in language materials and in large print and other accessible materials. so i will go over a few highlights of these. we do have a report that i prepared that you should have in your packet. those of you only council. i also have printed copies here. large print copies that people may use. and we will also have it on your website on the mayor's office of disability website. we can do that in the next few days. i can help you get that. it's a very simple report that highlights the elections disability efforts that we make. one thing

fox news alert to tell you about this morning caught on camera. how the twister is woring across the midwest doing incredible damage. look at that. wxin reporter liz jillndiana where a state of emergency was declared. good morning, liz. >> good morning. that state of emergency has been in effect all night. city officials telling residence dents if you don't need to go out, don't. this is a dangerous situation. much of the area is without power. power lines are down. we are here at fire station number 6 an area also hit hard our first responders in this storm. you can see where the roof collapsed on to the fightre eng here at the station. emergency responders have been working all night. power crews are in the area as well. we do expect the national weather service out here sometime this morning to tell us if in fact the storms that rolled through yesterday produced a tornado. severe damage at a car dealership. i talked with the owner's daughter there and she told me that 5 to 600 cars on the lot could be damaged. will the fronts part of the glass of that dealership just completely blown out and the buildings are gone. officials are just beginning to as
