first alert traffic reporter jillian mele is watching a few trouble spots this morning. jillian? >> we had accidents earlier this morning but they cleared a while ago. right now not reporting any accidents on the majors, which is really good news for drivers. this is a live look in center city philadelphia. the vine street expressway really quiet. this is right near 95. the vine is cleared the entire length between 95 and 76 in both directions. speaking of 95, drive times looking pretty good. southbound from wood haven to the vine is about 14 minutes right now. 14 minutes is what we're seeing on 76 westbound from the vine out to the blue route. if you're traveling on the blue route this morning northbound from 95 to 76 right now that trip is looking to be about 18 minutes. if you're waking up in conshohocken an overlooked lane all because of construction there. take route 23, front street or even route 320 if you need to get around it. tracy? >>> now to decision 2014. election day is here and in one hour some voters can start heading to the polls. polling places are open at 6:00

jillian mele is in now. jillian? >> good morning, chris. a good start to this friday as far as the commute goes anyway. we're still not reporting any delays and no accidents out there. very quiet look at the boulevard. headlights southbound as drivers make their way from fox street to 76. speaking of 76, all is quiet here. in fact, the entire length of 76 is looking pretty good. drive times between the blue route and the vine that is where things get heavy in the morning is about 14 minutes in both directions. a very average start as far as the majors go. same thing for drivers in new jersey. making our way northbound passing route 55 as we approach the bridges. you can see average speeds now in the mid-50s. chris? >>> this transportation news, as well. septa will continue running septa trains despite a hefty price tag. keeping the trains rolling costs about $34,000 more than the night owl buss the trains replaced. but weekend business is booming. an average of 15,000 people road those trains through the end of october, according to septa.

jillian? >> it's been about 45 minutes, and as you can see, right in this area we're still seeing a lot of smoke out there. i haven't seen any flames in about 10 to 12 minutes, so that's good news. but crews are still out there. they're still working on this, trying get it clear. in the meantime, this ramp is still closed, so it's the ramp from 95 northbound out to the blue route northbound. and for just a few minutes, they let some of that traffic go by, that traffic that was actually stuck on the ramp behind this vehicle fire, but no more traffic is allowed on the ramp until this scene is clear and at least crews feel like they can let one lane pass. but right now, no traffic gets by. so, 476 and 95, we are seeing delays in both directions. this is actually 95 northbound approaching the blue route. traffic is pretty much stopped out there right now. and you can see this line of red in this area. drive time on 95 northbound from the delaware state line to the blue route is about 13 minutes. t

jillian mentioned this. nine hours after a fiery crash, part of the new jersey turnpike is still shut down. three tractor-trailers collided in cranberry township around 9:00 last night. they went up in flames. one driver was killed. take a look at video sent to us by a viewer who was driving by on the opposite side. you can see all three trucks were engulfed with flames. again, one driver died. we do not know the conditions of the other drivers. >>> new this morning, the pornographic e-mails exchanged by pennsylvania state employees on public computers, we now know they contained images of children and violent acts against women. attorney general kathleen kane called the images deplorable. so far, she has fired four employees and suspended eleven. the e-mails came to light when the ag's office investigated its own handling of the jerry sandusky sex abuse case. >>> first the canceled football season, now the removal of the head coach in a hazing scandal at central bucks west high school. yesterday the school

heading to work today or is it all holiday traffic, jillian? >> well, you know, it's tough to say, bill. we are dealing with a vehicle fire, though, something serious i just got word of in new jersey. 295 southbound past route 206 at exit 56. i was unable to get all of the details, so i'll go back to my computer and try to get more details about this. this just happened in the last few minutes, but i at least wanted to give you a heads-up that we have a problem on 295 right now. this is 76 right at belmont avenue. you can see a couple cars in both directions. no delays and no accidents on 76. drive times very average, about 14 minutes both directions between the blue route and the vine. still have this problem on the pennsylvania turnpike eastbound at ft. washington. the two right lanes are blocked as a result of an accident that happened in the overnight hours and crews are still out there trying to get that cleanup done. average speeds, though, in that area about 65 miles an hour. tracy? >> jillian, thanks. 5:33. let's show you a live picture

jillian mele has your traffic. good morning. >> if you have an early morning flight out of philadelphia international, this is what 95 is looking like just outside of the airport. you can see for the most part, pretty quiet. pockets of volume, but no big slow downs to report. the slow downs starting near cottman avenue. that is where we're starting to get the first delay of the morning and route 30 bypass eastbound at 322. still looking good right now. no big delays and no accidents on west 30 and dealing with long-term construction and still out there between turner lane and five points road. you can take paleo pike as your alternate if you need to get around it. average speeds in new jersey, pretty good. 55 is what we're seeing on the 42 freeway right now and speeds in the 60s on both 295 and the new jersey turnpike and no accidents to report on the majors in delaware. tracy? >>> 6:02. breaking news out of delaware county. a 10-year-old boy is missing. nbc 10 chris cato is live in our digital operation center wit

time to get a check on traffic. >> for that we go to first alert traffic reporter jillian mele. what are you seeing? >> continue to follow the accident on the southbound side of the northeast extension just past lansdale. involving the tractor trailer leaking fuel. as you can see, i was able to find out how long that delay was. right now about four miles. any time there is a problem where you have a lane restriction in the area, that is where you can get a pretty significant delay and that's what we're seeing right now. avoid that area, 309 the best bet to get around it. the average speeds on 95 southbound about 31 miles per hour. this is what it's looking like and southbound side at cottman avenue. we are starting to get a lot of the normal volume that we're used to 76 at spring garden street. and eastbound near montgomery drive and center city where it is starting to back up. serious crash there. two alternate routes for you. unionville pike or route 309. tracy? >>> almost 6:12 right now. as we told you yesterday, the pope is coming to philadelphia. now the big question that a
