jim bernard, give us the latest. >> the front has passed, as mentioned, phil. conditions should be winding down here as the wind returned to near normal after 50 to 60 mile an hour gusts overnight across the shore line here. heavy rain through the wee hours of the morning. looking now ott our high definition doppler, you see still some moderate returns showing up in and around the bay here, mainly up across the north bay, and then down around san leandro into freemont. let's zoom on in on this here, and take a look at some moderate returns up across north bay, stretching all the way out towards napa and calistoga. we're looking at pretty strong returns this morning. could be moderate to heavy showers in those areas of strong returns, as well as isolated thunderstorm potential here. through the day, cold and then settled pattern across the area. of course with any thunderstorm activity you could see hail and very gusty winds. and we look for that in the yellow areas. again san leandro down to freemont. they, too, are looking at pretty strong returns at this hour
