let's bring in jim bitterman live from paris. the french president has been visiting the region. that's been part of the story, but also the story back in europe of how these nations actually really strutting find consensus on how to move ahead on this. >> exactly. i think one of the most frustrating things is they would like to get humanitarian aid to the gazaens basically because they know how they are suffering. among those people who have taken it upon themselves to offer humanitarian aid to egypt, it's taken over by the palestinian red crescent but basically how does that aid get into gaza. there's only a dozen trucks went into gaza yesterday. and the foreign minister was on talk radio this morning saying they have hundreds of trucks going in every day in order to sustain and have a durability of sustaining the people in gaza for their humanitarian needs. one of the big problems was inspections that have to take place to make sure they aren't loaded with contraband that could hamas could turn into weapons. so it's a process that's just nowhere near being very efficient and n
