we pay tribute to one of the greats jim bunting and we're going streaking.d to their franchise record winning streak tonight. hear from the leading goal scorer cj why things are clicking for the boys in blew next in sports. ♪ >>> we start on sad note today. phillies announced that hall of fame pitcher and former us senator jim bunting passed away last evening at the age of 85 due to complications from a stroke suffered last year. bunning won 224 games in his pitching career with the detroit tigers and the phillies. a nine time all star bunning was most known for perfect game pitched in phillies uniform versus the new york mets back on father's day june 21, 1964. after his playing days were over, bunning turned to politics where he was elected to the house of representatives in 1986 and a kentucky state senator in 1998. bunning then retired from politics in 2010. the phillies honored bunning with a moment of silence before today's game versus the reds and as you can see, bunking is a wall of fame member we pick it up bottom second fillings down two-one. micha
