joining me for more on the manhunt, jim cavanagh. is this a typical suspect search?this guy has been on the run for a week and they are looking for him in a very rural area. >> right, alex. it's typical to try and corner an armed suspect in a rural area that is extremely violent and wants to shoot it out with the police. that's why there are so many tactical teams and trs teams, and they may have him corners as the reports came in last night. >> why do you think he may be cornered? >> well, they had reports of shots exchanged with the police last night in an area not far from where he lived and his parents lived, but it's not clear if they have him nailed in. even if he broke in a house to get food, he could have exchanged fire and run back into the woods. he has been out there a week, so he might need food and he could break in somewhere to try to get some provision. >> you talk about the parents. the father says he is an excellent shot, apaeurparently. there are guns missing from the home so that could exchange gunfire if that's what it's related to. what causes a
