i'm pat collins. >> i'm jim handly. how long will this stick with us? >> veronica johnson is in the storm center with her first forecast. >> they dropped down to 34 degrees at reagan national airport. the average low, 41 degrees. still well, well away from the record low for the day, which was 20 degrees here. here this afternoon, we managed to bounce up with the sunshine. we managed to bounce up from the 20s. areas north and west, 28 in gaithersburg. so many locations started out below freezing giving us the lowest since march 11th. the wind is calm at 54 degrees. tonight, the temperatures are dropping off. it's not as cold as last night. we are headed down to the upper 30s to mid-40s throughout the area. we have 55 degrees in frederick with full sunshine throughout the area. 56 in fredericksburg, virginia. stafford and charlottesville, 57 degrees. satellite and radar, hardly a cloud to be found across the area. but, tomorrow the clouds are going to be on the increase. we have showers and thunderstorms to talk about in the forecast for tomorrow. your g
