jim and wendy. >> all right, aaron gilchrist. >>> our other big story right now, ready or not, like it or not, a winter storm watch just issued for parts of our viewing area. >> yes indeed. let's go to storm team 4 meteorologist veronica johnson. when and where and really? >> yeah, really, i know. hard to believe, after record warmth today. but yes, for wednesday now, that is the day that we are watching very closely winter storm watch already issued by the national weather service. all these counties you see shaded in blue is ones that could see some accumulating snowfall. so that's up around baltimore, carol, frederick, loudoun, fauquier county, rappahannock, madison, albemarle and off to the west. this is where snow could accumulate, and may likely have an impact on area roads. everywhere east of there, right now not shaded in blue, still we're expecting some falling snow. but what falls may not necessarily cumulate. we'll talk more about that coming up. but again, it all has to do with colder air making its way in. there's the weather front. in a storm system developing south and making its way nor
