i'm pat lawson muse. >> i'm jim handly. at 4:30, right now, a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect. >> let's get to storm team 4 meteorologist chuck bell. what's it looking like now? >> under the gun in fairfax county where the severe thunderstorm warning is in effect. it will be ending here in a few minutes. they may have to reissue the warning. they are under the gun through 8:00 this evening. as of now, the strongest, most intense storm is rolling into the western and central parts of fairfax county. a lot of lightning with this storm. arriving in reston in the next couple minutes. washington by 4:53. the east side of the metro by 5:15. that's the track over the next hour or so. inside the beltway, baton down the hatches and be strong for a heavy lightning thunderstorm to come through. this in loudoun county is falling apart a bit, but could bring gusty wind to montgomery county. there's another thunderstorm near culpeper coming out near quantico and i-95. be weather aware for a couple hours. storms fading away by 9:00
