jim lacamp with ubs has a crush on dividend stocks. but paul schatz, market strategist and president of heritage capital says be careful, because he prefers to carefully pick and choose. good to see you, guys. thanks for joining us. >> hi, maria. >> jim, let's talk about that crush on dividend companies. even though they continue to pay consistent numbers to investors, they really didn't hold up in terms of performance over the last year. so why do you keep looking for them this year? >> well, i still like them. it's not the only group i like, but dividend stocks are in favor here for savers. and the reason is, the federal reserve bill has absolutely pilloried savers and seniors. so what are they going to do? buy a ten-year treasury, fully taxable, running below the inflation rate, or buy corporate bonds with not much higher yields, young bonds with not much higher yields, or i can buy stocks. higher yields, lower tax rate. they give you a chance to beat inflation. and not only that, as you just pointed out, a lot of these companies ca
