we may set a record temperature today up jim ramsey is here with a bit of a warning ... ller-coaster ride jim? >>the water temperature off of the lake front is cooler and some of the colder air will come ashore ... temperatures will make it to the low to mid '70's across the area so today there is a beautiful day going ... we have a temperature of 73 degrees right now that's 17 degrees warmer in chicago then it is in san diego ... all the coal there is currently located on the west coast ... and about 10 days or so we are monitoring that ... we will see some of that colder air, our way ... back in 1995 week set a record for today for high temperatures and we could break that ... the wind is coming from our region of the country that has lots of warm air ... looking at the next 10 days we see 70 degree lowe 80 degree temperatures that's all hanging near the chicago area but the colder air coming in from canada is hitting some of those western states ... and about 10 days we may drop back into the 50s or the low 66 days if we're lucky 60s if we're lucky ... the california m
