. >> i want to tell this story about woman in my life, my wife jo draper grante.oudly served my country with two tours in vietnam. i was diagnosed with active hodgkin's lymphoma. the cancer is a result of my exposure to agent orange while at vietnam. it moves through my body and can reappear at any time. my lovely wife jo has been my primary caregiver. she has sacrificed so much to take care of me. i don't have the adequate words to explain her unwavering love and devotion. over the years i've been in the hospital for critical care or many surgeries, jo has always been by my side. when i go to bed at night, she is beside me sleeping in a recliner. when i awake in the morning, she is there holding my hand. last year i was diagnosed with colon cancer. i was unable to care for my personal needs. without hesitation she would bathe me. it was a very humbling experience to have your wife take care of you like she was taking care of one of our six grandchildren. i'm so blessed to have a wife, a friend, a partner like jo, who is honest, compassionate, faithful and caring.
