in fact right now joining us live, joanie lynch with mammoth mountain. is it true that you have had about ten feet of snow in this recent bout? >> it is true. today may be the first day of winter, but the last four days have felt a lot more like winter. we have picked up between ten and 15 feet of snow here at the resort just since friday. that sets us up for a record breaking season. over 105 inches just in december. it is coming down now. there's a plow behind me. >> i can almost feel the cold coming off of that live shot. one other thing, with this being a holiday week, are people going to be able to get up there, considering the roads and our christmas day storm? >> absolutely, always good to check on the road conditions, they have done a great job keeping them clear, there have been some chain restrictions. if you're coming over are the bay area, we have had some cancellations so check in first. >> stay warm up there. all right let's go ahead and get a look at the radar. we are following rain starting to push here into the bay area, not too much ret
