[cheering] [applause] i want to take this opportunity to introduce the libraries new literary director, clay smith, who is a distinguished career managing book festivals across the nation. including the texas a book festival and working with first lady laura bush during the genesis of the national book festival. you will be seeing a lot of him at the festival tomorrow and at the llc events.
