joce sterman, what does he face? joce: the sentence came down ten minutes ago. judge sentencing douglas hughes to 120 days in the bureau of prisons, one of their facilities and one year of super vised release. this is an interesting sentencing hearing this afternoon. took four hours, with douglas hughes comparing himself to civil rights leaders martin luther king junior, rosa park, harriet tubman, authors, all kind of people. the judge disagreed saying this is not a nonviolent act of civil disobedience. even though they claimed it was a license violation. we are talking about something from april 15, 2015. hughes landing a gyrocopter on the grounds of the capitol. the judge was critical of his defense in this, that he notified the government letting them know he would be taking this flight. when in reality he sent 80 e-mails ot media and sent one e-mail to authorities. that e-mail actually went to a campaign site for barack obama back from 2012. she basically said he did not make an effort to notify anyone about that flight. prosecutors argue that he took a flig
