initially we're going to open the darkroom and this portion and the basement portion are are going to -- jocelyn king and i met with a non-profit group which is looking at the space to do some non-profit musician type of things. the group includes mr. law and duck who is partners with the grand it is the most successful northern california night club. the design is going to be that of a lodge. this is what the darkroom is going to look like. going to be designed by extremely prominent architect out of uc berkley and i think you'll agree the design looks pretty good. this is another sketch of it a lot of wood a lot of nature elements. and sort of modern design. the area historically been this is look at this tower is at the corner of sixth and market circle this is circle 1985 this was the largest night club outside of broadway in manhattan. and we seem to have a resurgence down there the warfare building is approximately 2 hundred feet away from this club. your business plan calls for marketing two. information technology workers after hours we see this primarily as an after hours and corporate

[ applause ] >> thank you, audrey, i'm sorry to have missed that 90s party. i wanted to come to say a brief few words to say what a wonderful job you are doing with city hall and work to go create a vibrant and safe nightlife. when i came to office in my first year there was a shooting that involved eight victims on van ness off polk street quarter. there was a horrible set of shootings that happened around club suede and fisherman's . that started some conversations that initiate neighborhoods and law enforcement on the nightlife and entertainment. because of some of the work that you have done here, we have moved some conversations politically in which we have much more collaboration, much more cooperation and much more creativity when it comes to brainstorming. i want to thank your office to help us enforce the rules and i want to thank those in this room as well as those in c ma

so what we are going to do now is i'm going to bring up our executive director jocelyn king who is already here and we are going to introduce our panel. we have a couple questions that many of you are interested in and we hope that our panel can address that. our first panel member is supervisor david campos. i made one set of copy and talked to jocelyn that invoiced work and pictures and the material that we bought over the last 20 months. the work that we have done, they believe the commissioners and the inspector has been here several times. can see in the back of the club and the walls built all the way to the ceiling. we used sound-proofing material between the sheet rock. we sheet rocked the entire ceiling and the glass wall on the mission side of the street. on one side of the club near the bathrooms, it was like a funnel that went up to the ceiling. we basically enclosed that, and basically an entire shell was inside of the building. we have been constantly testing. we have been in contact with neighbors. i mean almost daily, just to make sure because this is not a science, it's an art. and even though we have
