today, 35-year-old michael jocelyn appeared in amador county superior court and pleaded not guilty to counts of continued sexual abuse on a 12-year-old girl. he was taken into custody yesterday. amador county sheriff's investigators say they were notified of the alleged abuse over the weekend. >> it came from a pastor who said that a mother had notified him that her daughter had been molested. >> the court issued a protective order on jocelyn requiring that he turn in his guns. the chp also said that he is going to be fired. >>> prosecutors announced today they will not file criminal charges against a former santa clara city councilman accused of sexual harassment. dominic caserta resigned from the city council and suspended his campaign for a seat on the county board of supervisors in may after several women and girls came forward alleging harassment. he was also placed on paid leave from his teaching job at santa clara high school. now the district attorney has determined there is insufficient evidence to prosecute him. caserta consistently denied the charges. >>> an ingredient foun

i've been here since jocelyn left. i'm an advocate, activist with the taxi industry. as a cab driver for over 18 years and i used to come to the meetings all the time and advocate for being able to provide cab service and also supporting clubs. i've been meaning to come here and i took one of your commissioners here. so i decided that i would come and do public comment finally because i have some issues with some of the clubs and what's going on. first, i want to say, you heard that a guy acting like a driver was soliciting or picking up at clubs and ended up doing unfortunate things to women. it's unfortunate. one of them was temple. if you want to go, look at temple on thursday, friday, saturday nights, you will see there's double, triple, quadruple parked vehicles and some of them are sitting there for long periods of time soliciting for fares. and the security does nothing. one of them, the guy -- they have a dog. they have a guy, a security guard, with a dog, who checks cars and whatever. and i told them i was calling the police because the double and triple park

jocelyn carter went to spoil it for me, because i was very happy at the homestead, and some of her staff were coming to the homestead regularly and saw my work and approached me one day and said roland, mrs. carter is looking for a pastry chef, but you apply? i said no, i am very happy here. i don't want to go to washington. i understand that there is a mental problem in washington, and i'm not about to get the -- that disease. so, i am staying away from that place. so, fine, a few weeks later, they come back in the hotel and they start again on me. when are you going to come? i said oh, man, please, i already told you, no interest. so, they did that a couple of times. then, one time they called me in december 1979, they called me at my house, the white house called my house, and said roland, i am going to bring in employment sheet, and i want you to fill it and if you don't mind. and also, mrs. carter, wishes for you to come for a tour of the white house. that was a trick! so anyway, i accepted. and in those days i drove all the way from virginia to downtown dc to visit the white house.
