that's where our jocelyn moran is live from this morning. you were out there after the news broke almost 24 hours ago. what are you seeing now, jocelyn? >> yeah, justin, obviously the neighbors are visibly shaken up by this. we saw that since yesterday. i want to show you what we are we are seeing right now. there's a couple of tanks, cylinders, not exactly sure what is in them or what they contain, but you can see the area is blocked off here. again, a lot of people, visibly shaken up. we don't have many details as to exactly what happened. it's all under investigation, and unfortunately one person did lose their live. cadaver dogs and crews with heavy equipment found the body of the resident that was unaccounted for. two people were injured including a firefighter. after the explosion, one woman came out screaming and badly injured. >> the home nurse came running out, and she was half charred, her back half, all charred. hair, charred, curled up, because of the flames. >> reporter: all right liz nue said the home nurse was at the home taki

that is were our jocelyn moran is live in redwood city. this is an area that got hit really hard by those winds. >> reporter: yeah. i remember texting you yesterday afternoon after my power went out . just along the peninsula, we saw a lot of various really being affected. and it is very windy right now. not nearly to the extent that it was yesterday. but we are still seeing those effects here. we have seen them all morning long. along woodside road, there is a reason for that, this is a busy area. people take this to 280 to get their day started. these businesses have no power right now. you can see here, cars are taking it as a four-way stop. that is exactly what you want to be doing. look at this wells fargo. it is closed. they are turning people away. a lot of these businesses do not have power. if we go to the pg&e outage map, you can see what areas were talking up. redwood city. east palma lotto. a lot of these areas have no power right now. another area is emerald lake hills. i want to say this video. you can see justice roof that c

our jocelyn moran is live from the sunset district where it all happened. celyn, we know the crews were out there all day yesterday, and it spilled into the night. describe what is going on out there right now. >> reporter: yeah, justin, there are a few crews here, and yeah, a lot of people wondering exactly what happened. we don't have many details. people who live in the area, the neighbors describe hearing and feeling a loud boom. windshields and windows blown out. it's an idea of the magnitude of what they heard and felt. you can see the area blocked off, and it's hard to see from the distance here. you can see the appliances, and also some cylinders there. again, all of this is under investigation, and unfortunately one person did lose their life. san francisco fire crews using the heavy equipment and cadaver dogs. one neighbor says after what they heard was an explosion, someone came out screaming and badly injured. she says the home nurse was inside of the home caring for a disabled woman who lived inside of the house that is now collapsed. liz fears

jocelyn moran is live along teller of art. joslin, where does this stand now? >> reporter: all right, liz. the good news is there is no fire anymore. you can see how many pg&e crews are here. you can see it is coming the area where the fire was. you can see this line of pg&e crews through the area through the neighborhood. we are told the shelter in place order has been lifted for the neighborhood except for those immediate homes that were affected. so the home where the spire was in front of, a few of the homes in the area are still evacuated. the shelter in place order for the rest of the neighborhood has been lifted now. i want to show you the video of the flames from last night. these are flames from this morning, too. this is under investigation. the battalion chief says they got calls and reports of a loud explosion, an electrical hazard and a car on fire. all of this is under investigation. listen to what one resident said who lives in the area where all this happened. >> we heard a loud explosion, several explosions outside the house. i initially though

our jocelyn moran was there. >> reporter: a lot of people near the area of the sunset district describingt they heard. something like a loud explosion is how they described it. i do want to show you some of the homes that sustained damage. even just eight, nine, 10 homes down you can see some of these windows were completely blown out. even the cars sustained significant damage. you can see this windshield here, just completely shattered. some of the glass here on the floor as well. again, homes, seven to 10 homes away from where this house collapsed are, seeing significant damage here. i do want to show you the homes that are right next to the house that collapsed. that greenhouse right there. we spoke to the resident who lives there. her name is karen leigh. she tells us that she was on a conference call for work when she heard a loud boom. >> glass was flying out of the window. the front door was busted. i was so worried, you know, about the blast coming through. >> reporter: karen tells us that their own sustained significant damage. her window, her door, her garage just completely ru
