reporting live in fair field, i'm jodi hernandez, nbc bay area news. >> thank you, jodi. new tonight at 6:00, a new clue that police hope will help track down the man accused of attacking a man inside a san jose eatery. itappened on may 6 inside a restaurant on the 5,000 block of almoden expressway. police did not say which restaurant but did release surveillance videos of the suspect. he's described as being in his early to mid-20s with short, cropped here. if you see this man, you are asked to call silicon valley crimestoppers. >> a carjacking, kidnap, and tried to sexually assault a woman. police released a sketch of the suspect today. investigators say he had a knife on him when he attacked the woman saturday night. now she was getting into her car in the parking lot of the pleasant hill shopping center on contra costa boulevard. it's a very busy area when the suspect suddenly approached her, forced her to drive about six miles to martinez, and then tried to sexually assault her. the woman, though, fought back. she did manage to get away, but the suspect did, too, act

oliver fein, and jodi jacobson.to go back to jodi to ask about the right-wing attacks on health care, especially around women. there was a lot of discussion around abortion outside the supreme court with the hundreds of people that were there. how will this law impact women's health care? >> on the whole, first of all, i am unequivocally an agreement with the issue of the single payer piece and should be striving for that and this is a step forward for what we really need. but for women, without question this law is a gain. 45 million women have already received coverage of things like pap smears, cervical cancer screenings, other reproductive health care without copays. there has been an increase for women and access to all sorts of health care they need because they are women. what this law does is remove gender discrimination in health care pricing, it enables women to get access to care. as of august, when it can get access to contraception without a copays or without a deductible, just like any of the prescript

in san francisco, jodi hernandez, nbc bay area news. >> thank you, jodi. >>> explosive testimony in the william lynch trial today. he's the man charged with beating a priest who says abused him as a child. lynch took the stand today and admitted to the charges. but it didn't end there. >> reporter: jessica, william lynch was in tears at times here at the hall of justice. he did pause at times, then he described how he says father lynch raped him, and his little brother as children during a camping trip. his voice cracked as william lynch looked at the jury and described what he says father jerry lindner did to him. i didn't know what i was doing, he testified. he forced me to have intercourse with my mouth. i don't know. i disassociated or passed out. >> listening to mr. lynch's testimony of the abuse he suffered as a child was absolutely heartbreaking. he was barely maintaining his emotional control. and clearly the detailed questions were very troubling to him. >> reporter: then lynch described how he said father lindner sodomized him. my brother, i'll never forget the look in his eye
