earlier i spoke with joe garofoli, the senior political writer at "the san francisco chronicle" aboutmocrats try to impeach president trump. there's a lot to unpack today. but i want to begin with the democratic strategy. house speaker nancy pelosi basically making the 25th amendment option one to remove the president then followed by impeachment. what do you make of that strategy? >> she's moving along very odicl she's giving pence a chance to act. she knows he won't. she couldn't even get him on the phone as she was on hold for 25 minutes so then impeachment is in their front pocket and comes up with that next and move along there and then the problem is going to be in the senate, though. >> before we move on to the senate, i want to back up to vice president mike pence. we still don't know where he stands on this 25th amendment, correct? >> oh, no, he doesn't -- apparently spoke with trump for the first time since the vote the other night, and, but, you know, he has no options here. he doesn't have a lot -- he doesn't have the votes in the cabinet to move forward with the 25th amen
