congress joe johns is on capitol hill. the president said he will be working hard to answer questions from capitol hill. >> we know he called congressional leadership last night. there will be briefings, other me meetings, he's going to speak to netanyahu who's levy it had harshest criticism on this. but when it goes before congress, there is the bipartisan bill that passed a says the white house has to send the deal to congress so they can review it for two months and after that they can vote. they can't collapse the deal. the president is within his right according to the law to do this on his own. it's considered an executive agreement, not a treaty. so what congress would vote on is whether they want to lift the sanctions that congress imposed on iran. and then congress would have to override that veto. so they would need a two-thirds majority. that could be impossible given they would need so many democrats to get on board for that. but even if they were to accomplish that they would keep certain sanctions on iran but
