i'm becky quick with joe kernen. andrew is on assignment today. the january unemployment report is minutes away now. they added 237,000 jobs last month. the unemployment rate is seen falling to 5.5%. we're already at the lowest level in six years of 5.6%. they see it dropping another another .1%. you have average hourly earnings rise by .3%. this could be the 12th straight month of job gains above 200,000 which would be the longest such streak since 1994 and that has people saying the fed is behind the curve and other people say when you look around the world to see what's happening with the strong dollar he they would be crazy to be raising rates but it's a source of continued debate the do you is up more than 4% over the last four days nasdaq is up for the year. the index is on track for the best week since december of 2011 and right now the futures ahead of the report are basically unchanged waiting to see what happens with this s&p futures off by over a point and nasdaq down by two. >> people are now saying can you take the january effect and

i'm andrew ross sorkin along with steve leisman this morning in for joe kernen and becky quick.ow at this hour. the crisis over greece's debt and the country's future in the eurozone dominating today's trading. remaining cautious at this hour. you can take a look at futures right now and see red arrows across the board. dow looking to open 56 down. the s&p off 12 points. meantime becky's got news on mcdonald's. >> we've been waiting for their same store sales. this has been a closely watched story. those numbers are just hitting the tape. it looks like they are down 1.8%. u.s. sales actually up. and this is good news after some really terrible numbers that they've seen for quite a while. u.s. sales up by .4%. they're saying that it was a positive impact of breakfast day part performance. but they said it was offset by competitive activity. that's been something that's been plaguing mcdonald's for some time. i think the huge news though is asia pacific, middle east and africa. the comps there, down 12.6%. they say this reflects not just currency issues. this is broad based consum
