i'm joe krebs. >> i'm eun yang. welcome to this tuesday, january 31. all is quiet at d.c.ccupy encampments. it is the first night that the no camping law was enforced. >> reporter: good morning. we've been here all morning long. for quite a few hours. let me show you what it's looking like behind us at mcpherson square. it's all quiet now. of course the expectation is that now that park police are enforcing the no camping rule, it was a very good possible of folks being evacuated en masse. so far, nothing has happened. u.s. park police have been checking tents for sleeping occupiers and reminding protesters that the two occupy d.c. sites that there is a no camping rule on federal grounds. park police spokesmen said that officers began enforcing the camping ban yesterday. while he would not give a specific date and time for evision, he said the camp -- eviction, he said the camping ban includes bedding materials such as sleeping bags and blankets. the national parks service warned protesters that those who violate the camping rule would be arrested. so far again, no arrests

[ shouting ] >> this video posted on youtube shows the man who calls himself lash being tased at mcpherson square yesterday. park police say the man became angry about the flyers and confronted officers about the ban. they say they were forced to use a taser when he became aggressive and confrontational. the incident comes when emotions were already high. starting at noon today, park police will enforce the ban at overnight camping at both movements here in the district. demonstrators have been holding a 24-hour vigil since october. one man we spoke to took his camp down over the weekend. >> i don't like when the police mess with my stuff. so my tent's down. but we kind of hav
