's >> tucker: welcome back to our special on sobriety. drug addiction is harmful, sometimes fatal. it can be just as harmful for people who are close to the addicted. suzanne somers has seen a lot of this. she's an actress and an author. she is also an expert on the so-called halo effect. she spoke to us about it recently. here's how it went. the question of sobriety. we spent a lot of time talking about drug addiction on the show, mostly because of the opioid epidemic. why is sobriety worth achieving? what's good about sobriety? >> i think what you're talking about in my case. i'm not alcoholic or drug addict. i was extremely affected by alcoholism. my brother and my sister and my younger brother were all severely affected by alcoholism. my younger

are you guaranteeing like joe willie namath, guaranteeing a win in iowa?on the super bowl when you weren't even alive. tell you about it later. are you guaranteeing a win in iowa? >> what i'm doing is working my heart out as my team is making sure we have a good result and i think we will. we were in iowa before and after the christmas holiday and we saw big crowds coming out in the cities and population centers like you'd expect but a lot of rural areas. a lot of those obama to trump switching counties that we talk about so offer. seeing people coming out of the woodwork, and a lot of people will come to me at the end of the event, come on the rope line and say, i'm one of those future, former republicans that you like to talk about. this is a message that is reaching a lot of different kinds of people who want to see change. i'm not tricking them into thinking i'm conservative. i'm telling them that this is our one chance to end a trump white house that is as disgusting to a lot of people on the other side of the aisle and to their values as it is to us.
