podcast host and comedian joe rogan says he has covid broken, has previously used his platform to question the effectiveness of the coronavirus vaccine. the 54 year old made the announcement on instagram yesterday, saying he contracted the coronavirus after being out on quote the road. podcast host says he had a fever and night sweats, rogan says he's on a variety of medications to help fight the virus. tomorrow's show with dave chappelle has been rescheduled now to october. 24th the oakland city council is keeping three head start locations open for at least another year. all three sites are in east oakland, and we're set to close because of a lack of funding. in june, the city received $12 million in federal grants for head start for the next five years. that was about $5 million less than what was requested yesterday. the oakland city council voted to provide $2 million to keep the sites open through the end of next year. still to come at noon to push to get more employees vaccinated and protected against the coronavirus, but one company in the north bay did to reward its majestic mount
