well, one thing that is open, taking a look at a different campaign, is what's going on between joe sestak and pat toomey. if you compare them, sestak raised about $300,000 over the last three months. toomey brought in $2 million. very different amounts of money on hand. what does this mean for sestak? does he keep going? or does he say never mind? >> it means that there are going to be people who are going to challenge him. he'll probably stay in the race. >> ed pawlowski already in. >> no, he -- i mean, i don't see sestak leaving the race. he's a pretty tenacious character. >> pretty? [ laughter ] very. >> yeah, what was it 422-mile walk across pennsylvania? >> right. >> but there are going to be a lot of people seeing his achilles' heels. and toomey has, amazingly, been able to make alliances across the aisle with a very diverse group of backers. >> including some democrats. >> many prominent democrats. >> absolutely. and sestak has not been able to -- even when he was in the house, he wasn't able to do that. he's seen much more as a partisan figure. >> let's not forget, though, you alw

now, former congressman joe sestak is the main democratic challenger right now, and he actually nearly beat toomey six years ago, but, somehow, party leaders are uncomfortable about a rematch. so, shapiro -- he's 41, former state house representative, ally of governor wolf. does he have what it takes to take on toomey? >> yeah, i think he does. toomey, to me, is rock solid and would win, but pennsylvania in a presidential year -- that's where the issue is. that's where the problem is. and sestak is unliked by just about everybody inside the party, so whatever -- >> is it because of what happened with him and arlen specter? >> no, i think it's because of the way that the guy treats the inside game again. it's like a kathleen kane thing, in my view, from what i can tell, and i think shapiro would be a tough candidate. particularly in montgomery county, he would raise a lot of money. >> "tough" meaning it would be tough for him? >> he would be tough against toomey, and he can moderate himself, pretty much. i don't think he has extreme positions on the democrat side at all. >> shapiro woul

the republican party have known, which is pat toomey's gonna be tough to beat next year, and that joe sestak can't beat him. so they're looking to recruit other candidates -- josh shapiro, montgomery county commissioner, who's also being wooed to run for attorney general. at the end of the day, josh is gonna make the decision based on family as much as anything. he's the father of four children. he wants to stay close to home. but that's good news for pat toomey and maybe for josh shapiro. >> all right. sharmain. >> it's the time of year to start thinking about teens, and one of the first things we want to think about is making sure they have a summer job. but there's another new program that's active in several other states but not in pennsylvania and that's called the p-tech program, which is a six-year high school. you get your high-school diploma, you get a college degree, get a paid summer internship, and you also get an opportunity to work for ibm. ibm started this program. we want to get it in pennsylvania. we hope the wolf administration will adopt it. >> terrific. christine. >> moni
