. >> joe vasquez tells us what the woman allegedly did after running out of ammo. joe? >> reporter: ken, i just got off the phone with the police chief telling me six people are shot, four are dead, and two wounded. a woman who is a former tribal leader is in jail. this is near the oregon border. 44-year-old shari rhodes is charged with four counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder. now here is a photo from the county record newspaper. aside from the court proceedings, school was also in session in this very building. in fact, that includes a day care with five day old child inside. the police chief tells me rhodes suddenly drew a semiautomatic handgun and started shooting. two women and two men are dead ages from 19 to 50. after cheiron out of ammo, she ran and got a butcher knife out of the kitchen. a bystander tackled rhodes to the ground. that probably saved some lives. the chief says it was a witness. a bystander who was covered in blood who ran to if nearby police station and reported the mass murder. the two wounded women are now in critical condition
