reporting live, i'm joe vasquez, kpix5. >>> pretty wild chase in marin county. our cameras were there as police went after three people suspected of casing cars at the village. the suspects got out of their car while it was still running so the officer pulled in front of it to stop it from slamming into two people fishing. >> the red car started to veer toward the off ramp and it looked like it was going into the bay. he ran into the cop car and the cop got out and was shaken up. >> the suspect ran into the bushes. police caught one of them. he is charged with resisting arrest and possessing stolen property. right now, the other two suspects are still on the loose. >>> tonight, we are hearing an ex-niner's side of the story. a woman says she was raped. dana stubblefield says she is lying and it is all a money grab. and betty, his attorneys are trying to prove it was facebook and text messages. >> reporter: that's right liz. they gave us that evidence today to try to prove that this woman has no credibility. and, they also criticized the da for trying to sensatio

here is joe vasquez. >> reporter: a san francisco homeowner was having her childhood house near rocky park renovated what they stumbled upon a sight under the garage. >> they said it's a casket. >> reporter: she is living in idaho while the work is being done and told me it's a casket believed to be pureed 125 years ago. there was no identified marks so they named her miranda, and it's believed that she was left behind when the cemetery was moved. back in the 1930s, the rest of the oddfellow cemetery was dug up and all the bodies moved but some were left behind and every now and then turn up in residential construction. erica said that the city won't reclaim the remains because miranda was properly interred so she couldn't get a death certificate to have another burial. >> this is just a small child. this is awkward. >> an organization provides burials for unidentified children and the group hopes to find miranda's true identity and bury here this summer. >>> a virgin america flight from denver was forced to return and make an emergency landing around noon yesterday because of a bird

. >> joe vasquez shows us the video and the man's lawyer is saying about this. >> reporter: the dark surveillance video shows construction worker eliel paulino sitting calmly talking to police quite a few minutes. his attorney says it gets ugly once paulino realizes he is about to get arrested and he yells at his father in spanish to lock up his truck. >> at that point, one of the officers tells him to shut up and gets closer. he explained all i'm telling him to do is lock my truck up. >> reporter: paulino says they started to strike him with their batons. >> you see as he is face down on the ground, not trying to fight. he is defenseless at that point. >> reporter: in their written report, the officers say they used force because he was combative and they thought he might have a weapon in his waistband. >> he was not struggling. he was just on the ground. the only thing he said on the ground was i'm sorry in broken english because he does not speak english well. he didn't know what else to say. >> reporter: paulino was badly bruised and required staples on his arm. afterty vent last

vasquez dead and y we are live here in camden county, police headquarters i'm dann cuellar for channel six "action news". >>> dann, thank you. >>> there is a a bomb shell report tonight, involving joe paterno, and what he knew about the jerry sandusky sex abuse scandal, and when. it claims that a boy told paterno in 1976, that sandusky abused him. that is 25 years before paterno went to the university with reports of sandusky's abuse. the claim is part of the lawsuit between been state's insurers and the school. the insurance company claims that the child told paterno that he was molested by sandusky in 1976. the judge in the case says there is no evidence the that the claim went any further then paterno. well, tonight paterno's family lawyer says there is nothing to support that accusation, and he maintains that paterno never covered up sandusky's actions. >>> the escaped inmate in new jersey, has alluded capture for another day. and barnegat township police in longer believe that he is in that area 38 year-old arthur buckel once served time foreman slaughter for killing a baby. so his appearance yesterday at cvs store in barnegat prompted a heightened alert. today police officers
