crawford's joey horta live for us in guerneville with this new development. joey? james and darya. this is being called a storm-related tragedy. now 2 tragedies here. >> that's how firefighters are describing this. take a look at the flooding over here and you get a picture of what's happening in this neck of the woods. sonoma county sheriff's office saying they found the first body just before 5 o'clock last night. the victim found stuck in a covert at friends valley road in sonoma county. firefighters pulled the body out of the water. the sheriff's office says a second body was then found here road where we're located. crews were dispatched around 5.45 to an area where a missing person was last known to be. they had to call in the national guard who are already in the area responding to flooding and using a high water vehicle. looks like a dump truck to drive through the flood water. the second victim found along with their bicycle. that person known to ride their bike in the area frequent frequently, rather, and they somehow ended up trapped in the flood water. firefighters talk

joey horta kron. 4 news. okay. thank you, joey. >> all right. 10, 0, 5, is the time more developing news this morning. the berkeley family of a white teenager is suing the university of california and ucsf benioff children's hospital. they claim the hospital and should say the school and the hospital rejected her from an internship because of her race. that internship is part of a high school program ran by benny off tokens hospital. it's meant to support minority students who are interested in healthcare professions. according to a federal lawsuit filed tuesday, the teen had a four-point oh gpa and was selected for an interview after submitting her application. the teen eventually attended that interview and claims the interviewer asked her for her race and she responded white. the suit claims she was then rejected from the program. days later. kron 4 got a copy of that lawsuit this morning and reached out to the university and ucf any offer. ucsf benioff and the lawyers for the family for comment. e hear back. >>
