. >> it was a very successful speed week for joey logano. it home fourth in the daytona 500. joey, was that race anything like you anticipated it would be? >> pretty much. i expected to be aggressive. everyone knows the daytona 500 and how big of a deal it is to be out there and my race wasn't as i wanted it to be. left for damage early in the race, we picked that, went down a lap, got our lucky dog and scored third place stage points. i was in position with my teammate and i made a mistake on pit road and it cost us the speeding penalty and went down a lap again, got another lucky dog. and missed a few crashes. got ourselves close to being in position to make something happen and we got a top five at the end of the day. roller coaster day for the shell pennzoil ford. overall top five is okay. i hate missed opportunities and i feel we had one today. >> always smiling, joey logano, but the biggest smile of the 40 drivers who had dreams when the day started of winning the daytona 500, austin dillon, brother ty and crew celebrating.
