most disappointing was house speaker john bayner who came out and said okay.mittee which d and that ties into the jobs plan, we're not going to have any tax increases. and that gets-- affects the jobs plan because it affects the way you could pay for the sqobs plan. the republicans -- >> were you expecting otherwise? >> well, the republicans had sounded, well, two things. first of all the republicans had sounded much more conciliatory tone in the first week than the secretary week. secretary of all even though to some extent speaker boehner was not saying anything that he had not said previously about this supercommittee, at this point merely reaffirming that bright line, no new taxes is problematic and he clearly behind closed doors had been willing to be more flexible so that was a disappointment. and think the other thing going on is democrats don't seem to be rallying in huge numbers around, especially the democrats were up for election around the totality of the president's plan. >> some specifically saying-- a la cart. >> the will, where do you see. >> i
