today, mary kennedy, t estranged wife of robert kennedy, jr, the details are still streaming in and john berman is here with what happened. >> tonight the police outside new york in the suburbs say they responded to calls about a possible unattended death and they found the body of mary richardson kennedy. she was robert f kennedy jr's second wife, the son of bobby kennedy, the former attorney general, senator from new york. they have four children together, married for 16 years before a divorce filing in 2010. and that came at a tumultuous time, the day after police responded to the kennedy home during which mary richardson kennedy was allegedly intoxicated. also charged with driving while intoxicated around that time. tonight in a statement, her family says, we deeply regret the death of our sister, whose spirit will be scorely missed by whoz who loved her. now, diane, you will hear a lot about the kennedy curse, all the tragedy affecting that large family, but tonight their thoughts are with mary richardson kennedy and police are talking about a possible cause for death. >> thank you, john.
