i'm john berman. kate bolduan is in new york. to update you on something we saw a few minutes ago, shimon prokupecz, we saw a presence at a farm less that be one mile where the suspect's car was last found. you can see some video of what we were just look ing at moment ago. shimon tells us they were investigating a tip, some of the more than 530 tips that have come into law enforcement over the last 40 plus hours now. they got a tip. someone at the farm reported they heard something that so sounded like a gunshot. law enforcement went there and is checking it out right now. it goes to show you where this investigation is at this moment. mainly, that there is still a manhunt underway for robert card, who is still believed to be armed and dangerous. there's still this shelter in place situation for some 700 square miles, including tens of thousands of people. and the only update that we have from law enforcement is what they will be doing today, which involves more search ises like the one you're seeing on the screen now as tips co

i'm john berman in new york. the nation promises a new phase in its war on hamas. it is looking like a military ground operation as more troops amassed near the border with gaza. israeli airpower hit more targets on saturday. officials say hamas command group played a major role in the deadly terror attacks, was killed. meantime, civilians in gaza are heating some of the ideas warnings to leave the northern end of the territory and head south. but united nations officials and other agencies one such a large scale evacuation more than a million people could lead to disaster. hospitals in gaza already say they are on the brink. also the -- today, an important development from the pentagon. it has sent a terrier strike group in a show of support for israel. and to deter others including the militant group hezbollah from getting involved. cnn's oren liebermann is at the pentagon for us. talk about the this u.s. carrier strike group. >> reporter: with no a second carrier strike group is headed to the eastern mediterranean. the first one as well as the accompanying destr
