let's bring in john bussey and a fox news contributor. the right decision and what does this tell us? >> it is a decision for the moment. anything can happen between now and 2024. i think that there is an instinct to rally around the king. biden is doing a little bit better. the midterms turned fairly positive in general for the democrats. they still have a majority in the senate. he still has his legislative package through inflation starting to tick down. it is a global problem but coming down. the economy is still growing. it is not a time where i think you will see candidates say i will threaten the king. that could all change. the king may decide he will not run. he will make his decision in early 2023. the other thing that could happen is the global economy and trends could turn against him again. you are reporting earlier about what was going on in china. if they do not get covid under control and you begin to see supply change instructions again , the global inflation problem, is not just the u.s., it is globally, it could get wor

john bussey is here, fox news contributor and associate editor at "the wall street journal."hat gentleman we just heard in the sound bite, heating and eating. is this race going to get down to heating and, you know, eating and dealing with inflation and the economy? >> yeah, i think it already has, eric. look, the public is focused on inflation and for good reason. it's very high, and it has stayed high. this is a problem you and i have discussed before that is a function of the pandemic and the supply chain disruptions that have been happening since 2020. it really is a product of both administrations, the last one and this one, not getting the pandemic under control. but we had a good number for the third calendar quarter of this year, 2.6% economic growth. you're right, unemployment ticked up ever so slightly, but the jobs number was still pretty strong, and unemployment is still near historic lows. people are not having trouble getting a job right now, still a good time to look for a job, but inflation is high. and that's what i think you're going to see people, you're go
