tonight, the league is in the middle of a medical conference in chicago and we're talking with john butlerexecutive director of pop warner live via skyp from chicago. thank you very much for talking with us. let me start off by asking this question. there is a lot of talk about concussions and how dangerous football is on the pro level and in the nfl. how much of your new rules changes were driven by the nfl? >> very little, really. the changes came out starting a couple of years ago with the new awareness and a concentration on concussions and interviewed a concussion rule in september of 2010 and in the state of washington and the new rules evolve from now research coming out of virginia tech in february of this year that show the two areas of greatest concern and practices are the number of heads -- hits a child or flayer gets during practice and, cent of all, the full- speed head-to-head contact you mentioned in the nfl and we interviewed two rules for virginia tech research and the first is to limit the amount of time allowed in contact drills and scrimmages and the second, reducing a
