once we give you an update on what's happening in the pacific we have tropical storm john, tropical storm christie and category 4 hurricane hector that moved to the west of hawaii. now, actually all of this tropical activity will start to have an impact to as moisture starts to move in. we'll feel a slight increase in humidity between monday and tuesday of next week. the greens and blues show it will be more muggy not expectin lightning. it will help. they really depend on try to ge containment. that is good news as temperatures go from the upper 90s to upper 80s early next week and we'll see more breezy winds helping to clear things out. it will be windy with highs today reaching 70 degrees. we have been tracking the morning commutes. you only saw a couple of problems. >> yes. the rest of the bay area looking good. no issues on the bridges or south bay. let's get to an update along 680. an earlier crash was originally blocking two lanes. all lanes are now clear. you can see that's showing. green for go. no issues in the south bay. we have a smooth commute. i want to give you an update. westbound

at least, john, that was a hurricane has weakened to now a tropical depression. we also have christies a tropical storm. and then just to the west of hawaii, look at that. category 4 hurricane hector. with all that we have going on out in the tropics, this will have an impact on bay area weather going into early next week. as we go into monday and tuesday there will be some increasing humidity. this map here shows the humidity increasing for the bay area. where we see elevated humidity, not too bad. we're not expecting any rain but that increasing humidity will make it feel just a little bit more muggy and the temperatures coming down a few degrees and looking at the seven-day forecast, we go from 97 inland areas to 87 by the middle of next week. that's just warmer than normal and going to be a huge improvement. and then looking at san francisco, not as much in the way of clouds and fog today or tomorrow. but then by sunday we should see the return of that marine layer bringing in some fog and then some cooler temperatures through the beginning of next week but a lot of changes here i
