john clark has more from the west coast. >> the eagles will be playing the rams in l.a.irst time in 27 years and doug pederson said he wanted to see better practices this week than he saw last week, and he says the practices here at angels stadium were better this week. take a look at the birds practicing. these teams are so evenly matched the eagles and rams have scored the exact same amount of points this season. they're the top two offenses in the league averaging 30 points a game. the defenses are both top six giving up around 18 points a game. the rams are favored here, one game behind the eagles in the nfc race. the eagles say they will respond. >> we all hate to lose. that's always been the thing with us. we've always had the same focus, the same energy, the same passion every day. last sunday we just got beat. we just got beat. i think we'll all respond in the right way. >> we have a bunch of warriors on the team and have guys that know what adversity is like. we've faced it before. we love the game and, you know, we're okay. we don't curry away when there's a ch

i'm john clark.eagles' final regular season game, and what a surprise. quarterback sydney jones will make his nfl debut today. he has been activated. take a look. this comes nine months after he ruptured his achilles. he has been practicing the last few weeks, and he is ready. an nfl source tells me this will not affect his contract. he will be a restricted free agent after his rookie deal. it is all good. the eagles practice at the linc on friday. it's going to be around real feel 15 degrees at game time today. nick foles did not play well in the freezing temperatures monday night. here's a hot take. it would be good to see him break out of his cold streak, wouldn't it? >> i think the big thing is just don't worry about it. just go play ball, stay in rhythm, get in the zone, get completions. i think the big thing in the cold weather is completions, but that's really football. >>> penn state is now 7-0 in fiesta bowls, the best undefeated record by any team in any bowl. let's go out to arizona facing
