john collins has been tracking the storm. we're talking rain in stead of snow. >> not that much. we said we would be at the north edge of the storm and we truly are. later this evening, we may pick up a quick shower. the radar is a little deceiving. the air is dry over baltimore. that is why we are falling short as far as snow is concerned. the line of stuff is hitting the ground runs through the district of columbia and on top of annapolis. the darker green in this area it is actual rain fall. the snowfall is to the south in virginia and west virginia. it will not come much farther north. the radar trends are to push it further north. we could pick up a shower but nothing significant or equal to what they are getting in virginia. we will talk more about that. >> baltimore city police are on the scene of a serious stabbing in west baltimore. they responded to lombard street about 3 caught. police donned one man stabbed. that is all that was safe at -- police found one man stabbed. that is all they will say at this point. a 13-year-old baltimore boy died after falling out of a car

meantime, john collins is standing by with the latest weather here in baltimore. >> those warmer temperatures, and we've had a lot of it this year, also means a lot less snow. a lot less snow. you know, an inch or so here in the area, depending on where you live. the mountains, not enough to be great skiing. they've been able to make some but that's about it. natural snow is hard-put to get. there's a weather system in the great lakes and another one in florida. the florida one interrupted the daytona 500 race. both of these will be passing to the east. the one in florida may get some rain up close into the carolinas. but that will move off the east and miss us. the snowmaker in the great lakes looks like it'll miss us. on the west coast, a storm is developing, it's shifting into northern california, that storm looks like it comes in the middle of the week for us, that will be a rainmaker, not a snowmaker. 49 today the high, 48 is typical so a normal day temperature wise. even the lows were close. a little above freezing, 33 and 37, typical low is 29 degrees. we're going to do the seesaw act

john glenn, first american to orbit the earth. neil armstrong, the first human to walk on the moon. michael collins, the pilot of apollo 11's command module. and dr. buzz aldrin, pilot of apollo's lunar module and the second human being to walk on the moon. we're honored to be joined by a number of distinguished public servants and members of the nasa community, including the most recent astronaut class, which graduated not long ago. also with us are members of the crew of the uss hornet, the carrier that recovered the apollo 11 astronauts when they splashed down in the pacific. before we have the presentation of colors, let me draw your attention to the flag here on stage. senator glenn did so on february 26th, 1962. on september 16th, 1969, the crew of the apollo 11 presented speaker john mccormack with a flag they carried to the moon. today the flag is under the care of the house sergeant of arms, bill livingood. as some of you know, bill has had a great affection for the flag. i've told he has even held birthday parties for it. we appreciate his willingness to part with it for just today. >> la
