>> o'donnell: all right, ed o'keefe in wilmington, want to brng in our panel starting with john dickerson, let's start with kamala harris. former prosecutor, does she make the case against donald trump before joe biden tonight? >> the answer is yes. but the question is in what measure. traditionally the vice president is the attack dog. but the attack dogs are traveling in packs at this convention. everyone is attacking donald trump. and so while she will make a de fined case against donald trump, kamala harris comes to this speech with a lot more star power than vice president's normally have. two things to watch for. one for somebody who is very critical of joe biden during the primaries, how will she speak to his character but her personal story is the most interesting thing. immigrant parents. the story tonight is how immigration is an american value, a crucial american value. barack obama says it is about the meaning of america. the challenge for her did to knit her personal story with the larger biden campaign which is we are in touch with those fundamental values of america. and th
