i spoke with john erlichman who has been following the story from the very start. and joining us is bloomberg contributing editor paul kedrosky. his ted by asking bill take. >> from the very beginning it was going to end up in the court system. any type of telecommunication threat, whatsoever, you have two large institutional masses that know how the litigate and lobby and win those types of battles. if you go head-strong into either one of those trying to disrupt, you're going to end up in the courts, absolutely. >> you have this big investment in uber. surely you guys have thought about it from the very beginning this is going to run into the commission kind of issues. >> there is something very ifferent about municipal regulations and federal regulation. in municipal regulation, it is very easy for a mayor, a city council to stand up and say you know what? those laws may be outdated. maybe we should revisit them and rewrite them. that has happened in d.c., california, colorado. that is much harder on a federal level. we tend to have these laws that have existed

we are joined by jon erlichman. and john leonard.se parts of the same initiative -- the driverless car? >> i think they are different pieces of a much larger overall vision to bring the internet to the physical world. the automotive and transportation sectors are huge part of the economy, and getting android into cars helps streamline data and experiences in this domain while doing the moon shot for this revolutionary driverless car technology. they are separate efforts but they are part of the overall vision to really transform transportation in our everyday lives. geek., i am a i delayed my car purchase this year. i want to see what the new dashboard will look like from apple. but this one from google, was cool? >> it is cool:. . i think they are taking different approaches. a more controlled approach with apple. going along those same eyes we discussed with android, they want to enable your smartphone -- the best that you could do on your smart phone could be available to you in the car. whether it is through the controls or the p

jon erlichman is back with us. johnited for the season finale and so devastated it is already over. >> [laughter] there will be parties to talk about what you do after the fact. people love this show. it is more than a tv show and a lot of ways. this is a massively expensive movie that happens to be cut up in different shocks that you get to watch every sunday night. need a massive team. , we caught up with him recently and started by asking him, how does the show compared to other once you have done. >> you cannot compare "game of thrones" to another show, starting with the fact that it shoots on three continents. the entire season is written in advance. you have all of the material for the season when you start, so you can be very firm in the storytelling in a way you are not usually able to be in television. instead of there being eight characters, there are 40. it is hard to compare to anything else. when you talk about filming all over the planet, what is the logistical planning that goes into this? >> the planning

jon erlichman sat down with the actor. what does john say about his time on the street? >> it is a great story. he has a lot of storage because of his career in hollywood. this predates his hollywood career -- career. he spent some time at bear stearns. he was there during the transition from a downtown-based firm to the location they moved to on park. he was focused on derivatives or fixed income. here is his explanation of what he was doing. >> i was facilities planning. i was not running around with my yellow tie yelling by buy, sell sell. if your air conditioner wasn't working i would come over and tell everybody it is going to get fixed immediately. >> i will say that he was there for the 87 crash. he said it was weird to be on the set of the wolf of wall street. he was reliving that whole experience after his stint at bears stearns. >> did he remember at all what it was like being around jimmy ace or a screen burn -- green burn? >> i don't think he was there long enough to fully soak in all .f the he could have had a career on wall

jon erlichman is back with us now from los angeles. john, how is the strategy shifting out there?> look, a lot of gamers are here, obviously xbox one to to focus on the group. phil spencer e3, spendso, outside a lot of time in los angeles because of the game development, the original tv series focus. i guy named armor just bought a basketball team that plays down the street, you might be spending even more time in los angeles? >> love l.a.. good show for us here. >> to emily's point, the fact that this year is really about gamers, give us context into how much gameplaying takes place on --.xbox. and how many hours per day, per week , to try to understand how focused you guys are. >> one of our focuses the xbox one was two-putted at the center of your gaming entertainment. now we are looking at it in the home, five hours, six hours per day that the boxes being used, watching tv, playing games, always connected to their friends. we have had over one billion voice commands issued on xbox one since launch. >> we are kind of at that point in the release where the real xbox enthusiasts
