let's turn things over to john farley. good morning. >> john: good morning, rochelle. it's warm, here is the pocket of area we don't need rain. that is where it was messy yesterday and i suspect with this added rain it won't help things at all. what i want to show you is this is how it will play out as we go through today. the temperatures, look at this, well into the 60s. 67 here in columbia. mind you the average high for are starting out 11 degrees warmer than that and only will go up as we go through the day. the other thing, some fog. not widespread. visibility is generally not low all over the place. look at these humid dis, when you get in those areas there are pockets of fog, be aware of that as you move around on the morning commute. here are things, the swath of moisture goes to the gulf, that will be on and off through the day and, yes, unfortunately tonight. the way it looks like it will play out is starting out relatively dry and pick up through the night, have your umbrella with you. here's the forecast before the new year's eve forecast. we top off at 70
