this right now, we head over to the deep underground bunker and lisa ferguson in the current news center. good morning. >> hey johnod morning everyone. it is round two of the presidential debates tonight and president obama is under a lot of pressure. if the polls mean anything which is debatable in itself but if they do, the president has lost some significant ground after his performance in denver two weeks ago. the president did have a steady lead in many swing states including new hampshire but it seems that's pretty much wiped out. a suffolk university news poll has the two candidates tied there at 47%. and a really shocking poll coming out of gallup and "usa today," the president has consistently been well ahead with women voters but now seems he's tied up there too. the poll surveyed voters in 12 swing states and found an even split among likely women voters with each candidate taking 48%. that is pushing romney into the lead overall coming in at 50 to 46 against the president. but obama pollster joel beninson says there are some deep flaws in the polling, especially in the way gallup identifies likely vote
