nine on your side's john genovese is there. john. the swat team cleared out just this all began around 8-o- clock tonight after 42-year- old 'bobby jordan' fired a gun into a woman's home nearby. we're told that woman was uninjured. she lives on 'con-sa-dine avenue' - just a block away from where this standoff was taking place on 'purcell.' investigators say 'jordan' barricaded himself inside his home were walking up to his door he threatened to shoot them if they came any closer. we're told he made gestures suggesting he was armed. from there-- swat team was called and once an announcement was made for jordan to leave his home once the threat was made and the officers felt they had positions of cover - they did exactly what they're supposed to do - they maintained those positions of cover, made a notification for the swat team to come out with a negotiator. we train for incidents like this. and the swat team and the negotiator followed we're told - so far - investigators have not found a gun inside jordan's home. they are still out
