john's office, a representative has no comment right now. if he does, i'll update on twitter. liz: i also saw something about goldmanchs is mulling cutbacks because of low volatility? >> we should point out that's part of it. here's the thing. fixed income trading has been a bad business for the last couple years -- liz: which unfortunately reported on -- you have reported on. >> now it's really bad. it's like no one's making any money. we understand traders are bracing for a round of cuts that's fairly significant. we should point out that goldman has cut about 10% of its fixed income trading sales work force since 2010, so they've been doing it, but we hear this will be a bigger cut or at least a sizable cut that you'll notice. so that's what we're talking about. goldman sachs has no comment right now, but they are, from what i understand from people inside goldman, from the people on the ground, they're being told that unless things turn around, cuts are coming in that, and more cuts are coming to that fixed income trading compartment. liz: stock coming down up off the lows earlier i believe around when you tweet
