willrich's first book "city of courts" one for dissing bush john h. dunning prize awarded by the american historical association for the best book on any aspect as u.s. history and the william nelson cromwell prize for legal history. dr. willrich received his ph.d in history from the university of chicago. before that he worked for some years as a journalist in washington, d.c. writing for the "washington monthly," city paper, "the new republic" and other magazines. please give dr. willrich a very warm welcome.
