so i can tell you this that working with john haley for instance, those folks can tell me what the next determination is going to be and what we need to purchase that's factoring into the assessment so we know that by 2017 what we need to do tomorrow >> where's the money going to come from. that's the core. i don't want to hijack this by it's a key part of the picture and what i'm trying to do is be more than a good switchboard operator. what those costs are that's a convenient we typically never get to have >> president chiu. i want make a comment and a supervisor wiener alluded to this we have to figure out how to vest the money. hopefully in the next 6 months a number of us will be asking the public and our colleagues to consider bond measures and other measures on the 2016 bond measures. we have to figure this out for the whole city for the wooerz fans and so forth >> i had a couple of questions around the parking situation can you you gives an idea of how c by the way, what do i expect that to look like and on california train and when they come on line and the terminal do you know

haley think we can do in those time frames to best improve speed and kass ka pass it. when i look at this map, ~ the problem that john faces on a daily basis becomes very obvious to me. why is bart beating us to the southeast corner of the city, you know, twice as fast, why? they have a right-of-way. their trains don't run above ground, deal with cars, deal with traffic signals. and their trains don't come together at van ness station causing traffic. they haven't figured out how to run trains better. they just have a more runable system. same thing with caltrain. it makes two stops in the city on a completely dedicated right-of-way so they're going to run faster. as far as i know, we don't have any plans to dig more tunnels after the central subway. maybe we will, maybe we won't, but that's not in the current plan. so, to me it's all about right-of-way management. the pinch point at van ness, i mean, we've heard about it and we've heard about it. either it can be fixed or it can't. if it can't, we need to look at something else, but that needs to be fixed. market street needs to be closed to private traffic. i mean,
