my name is john harris. i'm born and raised in san francisco, north beach, chinatown.i was featured on channel 4 kutv has a city and county employee as a full-time employee that's homeless. i lived in a next door shelter for 2.5 years on polk street -- for over 2.5 years. the policy is you can stay there for three months, and then two months, you would have to leave and come back. so during that time, i slept in my car in the tenderloin. i also slept in a church parking lot where i mopped the floors and things like that for the church and they let me sleep in my car in the parking lot. i took care of my mom for, like, eight or nine years, and once she passed away three years ago, i became homeless. and some people that worked for the city and county gave me the opportunity to work for them, and i've been there ever since. i'm a temp exec. my union's fighting for me to become a full-time civil service because they don't understand why for 2.5 years, i'm a full-time temp exempt. they'd tell me if you sign this paper saying you have mental problems, psychological problems

"the new york times" reported that between 1985 in 1994 president trump's businesses collectively lost some $1.7 billion. the time says that in 1990 and '91 in particular, the president's core businesses lost $250 million per year. more than any of her wealthy american at the time. and the president use those losses not to pay an income tax for the president treating back about this morning, saying, "real estate developers in the 1980s and 1990s, more than 30 years ago, were entitled to massive write-offs and depreciation which would -- if one was actively building -- show tax losses in almost all cases. much was nonmonetary. sometimes considered tax shelter. he would get it by building, even buying. you always wanted to show losses for tax purposes." the present goes on, "almost all realistic developers didn't often renegotiate with banks. it was sport," he says. additionally, the very old information put out his a highly inaccurate fake news hit job." h

john? >> harris, good afternoon to you. on friday the president announced that tariffs on some $200 billion in chinese goods were going to be going into effect, raising them from 10% to 25%. china threatened back then that they would probably take retaliatory action and they have now, announcing that tariffs will go up somewhere between 20 to 25% on some $60 billion in u.s. goods. a lot of it will be agricultural items, but if you go through the list there are hundreds of things. from rubber erasers too -- it looks like tinfoil. the president, confident that he can beat china in a trade war, tweeting this morning, "i say openly to president xi and all of my friends in china that china will be hurt very badly if we don't make a deal. because companies will be forced to leave china for other countries." too expensive to buy in china. i had a great deal, almost completed, and you backed out." the president has also insisted it will china that will pay the cost of the tariffs, that the u.s. will benefit from the imposition of t

john? >> this is going to form the basis going forward, harris, for the white house refusing to comply withenas that will be coming down from capitol hill. here's the letter. we obtained this earlier today, it's dated april 19th, which is the day after the mueller report dropped. this is from emmet flood, the president's in-house counsel on the mueller report to the attorney general william barr. the letter is very critical of special counsel robert mueller, saying that mueller did not properly do his job by not making the determination. whether there was obstruction of justice, but then writing in detail about the special counsel's findings. flood writing, "the special counsel and his staff failed in their duty to act as prosecutors and only as prosecutors." going on to say, "the special counsel's office instead produced a prosecutorial curiosity. part true commission report and part law school exam." it has been suggested that the report was written with the intent of providing congress some kind of road map for congressional action. that was, in fact, the social office intention, it serv
